Gaby is a multidisciplinary artist working as both a classical singer and tattooer in the Bay Area.

Gaby is versatile performing artist with experience in both opera and musical theatre. She has been privileged to perform with many groups amongst the Bay Area; most notably as the title role in Seymour Barab’s Little Red Riding Hood for the Opera San Jose Outreach Program and as Suor Genovieffa in the Opera San Jose Young Artist Program production of Suor Angelica. As an undergraduate student at San Jose State University, she also performed the roles of Adele in Die Fledermaus and the Nightingale in L’enfant et les sortilèges. Gaby has also performed as a featured soloist in San Jose State University’s productions of Leonard Bernstein’s Mass and Mendelssohn’s Elijah. She also covered the role of Griselda, a stepsister in Alma Deutscher’s Cinderella at Opera San Jose.

A voice teacher since 2016, Gaby teaches voice at The California Conservatory of Music and Valley Christian Conservatory. Experienced at working in both private lessons and group settings, Gaby has also vocal directed several musicals including Bye Bye Birdie and Schoolhouse Rock Jr (Sunnyvale Community Players).

Gaby received her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from San Jose State University where she was also awarded the Irene Dalis Memorial Award 2018.

Though new to the world of tattooing, Gaby has been a life-long lover of visual arts and is now also working as a tattoo artist at Diving Swallow Tattoo Studio in Oakland, California.
